The History of the Zion's Harp Hymnal tells the story of the beloved hymnal of the Apostolic Christian Church. In the last decade, much new research by both American and European brethren has revealed more history and known authors of these reverent hymns. This beautiful full color, 9" x 12" hard-bound 256-page book can be used as a devotional, a historical reference, or a learning tool. In addition to narrating how the hymnal came into being, it includes biographies of the known authors and composers, information about the musical eras and setting in which it developed, and a detailed hymn information table. Within the text, each hymn is given its own entry. Interspersed are accounts revealing how the Zion’s Harp has been an encouragement to past believers. Combined, these stories and biographies will not only inspire the reader, but also further attest to the treasure found within the Zion’s Harp.

Very nice history of the Zion’s...
I definitely recommend this book. I think they did a thorough and awesome job. I found it interesting, enlightening and easy to read. The book is very well written and laid out, and has many beautiful and historical pictures. In the back there are helpful lists and other information. It was nice to learn about the authors, composers, translators, and others who contributed to the Zion’s Harp and how it developed into today’s version. I enjoyed learning of their history, their trials and tribulations, faith and preservence. I also enjoyed other historical stories pertaining to the Zion’a Harp. May God bless all who contributed to this work. Well done.

Very nice history of the Zion’s...
