For the Truth's Sake Book

For the Truth’s Sake is a chronicle of transcripts from the court records of Schweinfurt, Bavaria from 1850 to 1854, concerning the formation of a new Evangelical Baptist congregation by Andrew Braun and followers.  Within the transcripts, the reader will find an inspiring confession of faith and will read an account of what happened when church authorities tried to force a young believing couple to have their infant baptized in the state church.   Braun and his flock were persecuted to the point that they left their homeland of Germany and came to America where freedom of religion was protected. 

This 36 page booklet was originally published by Apostolic Christian Publishing Company of Syracuse, New York, and is now being republished for current readers of Apostolic Christian history.
