Lamplighter has been life changing for me! Our family loves all of Lamplighter's products...especially Lamplighter Theatre! "The Hedge of Thorns" always brings me to tears. Towards the end of the story, young John Carrol is weeping and sorrowful over his sins, his sister says to him, "The LORD is abundant in mercy toward those that turn to him!" I'm encouraged by this story...it reminds me that when I stray from my Lord and sin against Him, He is inviting me to return to Him and receive His forgiveness! Thank you for publishing and dramatizing this story, Lamplighter! God bless you all!

Our whole family loves lamplighters! We have 4 children and raising children in this society is not easy, esp. with so many temptations and peer pressure pulling at them, and so self-control is a must in order to choose rightly in walking with the Lord. Hedge of Thorns is such a powerful story emphasizing the importance of choice, resisting temptation, and staying on the righteousness path. We highly recommend it, 5+ stars, for families with children in this generation!

I just finished listening to The Hedge of Thorns Audio Drama. It is very well done and has such wonderful morals to it. I purchased the book for my sister a few years ago and I hope that it's left her with lessons and points to ponder. As I listened to the part where the little girl is pushed into the thorns, I was holding my newborn daughter. It brought me to tears thinking of what may come to her and any siblings the Lord gives her in the future. I hope this and the other LLP stories will help to provide a Hedge of Thorns around them and keep them from many evils.
